Hello to the Faithful of St. Stephens!
Dear St. Stephen’s Parishioners,
We are thrilled to announce the return of the St. Stephen’s Children’s Choir for the upcoming school year! Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, September 9th, and will take place every Wednesday from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM. The first rehearsal will be mostly informational with a little bit of singing!
The choir is open to all young singers in Grades 1 through 9.
Participating in the choir is a wonderful experience for young parishioners. Beyond being a fun and engaging activity, singing allows children to actively participate in the Mass, express their faith through song, and build lasting friendships within our St. Stephen’s community. Additionally, participating in the choir counts toward required credits for the Faith Formation program.
This year promises to be especially exciting! In addition to leading music at Family Masses throughout the year, our choir will prepare special music for the Christmas Pageant in December. We are also tentatively planning a fun Christmas caroling outing later in the season to share our love of God and joy of Christmas with the community!
Whether your child is a seasoned singer or simply loves to sing along from the pews, all are welcome. We would love to have them join us!

Children's Choir - Sign Up Here!

The St. Stephen's Children's Choir is back for the 2026-2027 school year, and we'd love your child to join us! Open to all young singers in Grades 1 through 9 - no experience necessary.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 4:15-5:00 PM, beginning Wednesday, September 9. Our first rehearsal will be mostly informational, with a little bit of singing.
Throughout the year the choir will lead music at Family Masses, prepare special music for the December Christmas Pageant, and (tentatively) enjoy a Christmas caroling outing. Singing in the choir also counts toward required credits for the Faith Formation program.
Please fill out one entry per child. If your child attends Faith Formation, let us know the day and time of their class so we can coordinate getting them to and from rehearsal.

Join St. Stephen's Music Ministry!
Children’s Choir 5:00-5:45pm
Handchime Choir 5:45-6:30pm
The Children's Choir is open to anyone from 1st grade to 9th grade who likes to sing!
The choir will sing for our new Family Mass once per month. Members of the Children's Choir will receive basic instruction in the fundamentals of singing, learn their own pieces for Family Masses, and present their own concerts at different points in the liturgical year. There are also many opportunities for solo singing at Masses and concerts.
Singing in a church choir, especially at a young age, is a beautiful way to express faith, build confidence, and learn how to work well with others. Music has always played a major role in our Catholic tradition. Lifting our voices to God is a powerful way to give thanks and praise for his goodness.
Plus, singing is very fun!
