The St. Stephen’s Tag Sale ends this weekend with deep discounts on Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1
p.m.
St. Stephen’s is hosting a blood drive this weekend on Sunday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in
the Parish Community Center. Walk-ins are welcome.
Palm Crosses suitable for graves are available in the Atrium for $20, cash and carry, while
supplies last.
Reconciliation Monday throughout the Archdiocese will be held this Monday, March 30.
At St. Stephen’s, confessions will be heard from 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon and from 4 - 7 p.m.
We still need volunteers for the foot washing ritual at the Holy Thursday Mass of the
Lord’s Supper, on April 2, 7 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the Atrium. This year the
Altar of Repose will be located in the gym following Mass until midnight.
There will be no First Friday Adoration on Friday, April 3 as it is Good Friday. The Passion
of Our Lord and veneration will be held at 3 p.m.
The Blessing of Easter Food at St. Stephen’s will be on Saturday, April 4, at 12 noon in
Atrium.
Please check the bulletin, Flocknote and the parish website for the Holy Week schedule
including Tenebrae services, Mass of the Lord’s Supper, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and
Easter Sunday Mass times. Please note that on Easter Sunday there will be two Masses
at 10 a.m. one in the church and the other in the Parish Community Center gym. Please
plan extra time for parking and walking into the church or gym. Overflow parking is
available in the Middle School parking lot on West St.
Tickets for the St. Stephen’s Spring Fling Tricky Tray on Fri., April 10 are now available.
Purchase your Admission to the event and early bird bundles of tickets via Flocknote or
stop in to the parish office.
Pope Leo asks that parishes support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps
Christians in the Holy Land. Through this collection, we stand in solidarity with the
Church in the Holy Land as a witness of peace, supporting Catholics there in parishes
and schools, maintaining Christian shrines and caring for refugees in the Holy Land.

The parish offices will be closed on Good Friday, April 3, and Easter Monday, April 6. The
office will re-open on Tuesday, April 7, at 9 a.m.
Stations of the Cross continue on Fridays during Lent at 9:30 a.m. after Daily Mass and
again at 6 p.m. On Wednesdays during Lent, Adoration will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.
Confessions will also be available.

sponsored by the Parish Council. This week’s ministries include Apostleship of Prayer,
Men’s Fellowship, OCIA, Sodality, three different bible study groups and the Altar

a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, 8 - 1 p.m. On Sunday there will be deep discounts on
whatever is left.
On Wed., March 25, there will be Adoration and Confession from 4 - 5:45 p.m. followed
by a Mass for the Annunciation of the Lord at 6 p.m. For those who wish to, there will be
an opportunity for the Spiritual Adoption of an Unborn Child.
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Lenten Fish Fry on March 27 from 5 - 7 p.m.,
please note the change in time. Reservations are required for both dine-in or take-out.
The Knights are also hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29 at 10 a.m.
The St. Zita Society will be cleaning the church for Holy Week and Easter on Saturday,
March 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Many hands make light work - please bring some basic
cleaning supplies to help prepare our sacred spaces.
If you ordered a palm cross, you can pick up your order in the Atrium after Mass. There
are a limited number of “cash and carry” crosses available. These are suitable for graves.

proceeds benefit our parish.

Easter Mass Remembrance and Flower Donation envelopes must be returned no later
than March 23rd to be included in the bulletin in April.
Due to a technical issue, there has been a delay in sending out Offertory envelopes,
beginning with envelopes dated March 8. The company hopes to send the envelopes
soon. In the interim, please place your offering in an envelope with your name and
envelope number on it to properly record your donation in our records. Thank you for

Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13 will be presented by Faith Formation
students in the Parish Community Center Gym as shadow-box silhouettes. All are
welcome to join this unique presentation of the passion of Christ. Please note that
Stations will not be held in the church that evening.

The Safety and Security Committee is seeking feedback from active and retired law
enforcement, fire fighters, medical and corporate security members. On Tuesday, March
10th, we are sharing the work done over the last year to make our parish members and
campus safe and prepared, and asking for professional input. Your expertise and
engagement is very valuable as we consider next steps. For additional details, please
refer to the bulletin and join us on Tuesday in the Parish Community Center conference
room.
Proceeds from the Poor Box this week will go towards the parishioner mission trip to the
Philippines.
