April 20 - April 22Save the Dates for Our Parish Mission, April 20 - 22 Led by Fr. Kevin MacDonald, C.Ss.R Fr. MacDonald is a Redemptorist priest from Woburn, Massachusetts, about 10 miles north of Boston. He entered the Redemptorist Missionary order after attending Boston College and playing seven years of professional baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and overseas in Holland and Australia. He is a member of the Boston College Hall of Fame. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1991 and has worked as a parish priest in Dominica, New York, Boston, St. Lucia, and the Virgin Islands. He is currently assigned to the Redemptorist Community at San Alfonso Retreat House in West End (Long Branch), NJ. The theme for the mission is "Speak Lord, Your Servant is Listening". Friday, May 01, 4:00 PM - 11:00 PMOur First Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will resume on March 6th with Adoration beginning at 4pm through to 11pm. Please join us in committing one hour in prayer. Our First Saturday devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will begin on March 7th with Mass, confession, communal recitation of the holy rosary and 15 minutes meditation on the mysteries. Both these devotions have one goal to console the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, to make reparations for sins and blasphemies, and to deepen our love. All are invited. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary draw many souls from our parish church to themselves through these devotions, and may they bless our families and Church.Read More

Plastic Recycling Program Updates
Thank you to all who are participating in the Trex Plastic Recycling Program!
To date, our parish has earned three Trex benches!
We ask that you review the requirements for the items that can be accepted. This assists those who are collecting, weighing the plastic and bringing it to the collection area at Price Chopper in Warwick.
The video to the right reviews what is and is not plastic.
Please do not bring the following. They are NOT accepted:
Bags that have food debris/liquid in them.
Bags that have a triangle with a line through it. THESE ARE NOT PLASTIC BAGS.
Hard "crunchy" items are Not plastic.
Accepted items:
Look for the recycling triangle on the package. Accepted items have a 2 or 4 inside the triangle, as in the photo below.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with collecting, weighing and delivering our plastic to Price Chopper. The commitment could be as little as 30 minutes, one time per month.

St. Stephen Gift Card Program Now Carries Adams Fairacre Farms Gift Cards
Our St. Stephen Gift Card program now carries Adams Fairacre Farms gift cards for purchase. Gift cards are available in the parish office, weekdays and after weekend Masses.
St. Stephens purchases the gift cards at a 10% discount and sells them to parishioners at face value. Our gift card program has been a long-standing fundraiser for our parish.
As an example, when you purchase a $100 gift card to use for your groceries, St. Stephens earns $10.
Additionally, Adams offers Customer Appreciation Night each Wednesday from 5pm - 8pm. Shop during these hours and receive 10% off your entire purchase! This is a win-win for you, and our parish!

Throughout the year, in addition to the generous weekly giving by our parishioners, we often receive additional donations that greatly help with many special projects and needs in the parish. St. Stephen's received a special $1000 donation to be put towards a project in our parish that might not otherwise be funded. Fr. Slawek is pleased to speak to any parishioner who would like to discuss giving of this type. During April and May this year, $750 was received as memorial gifts following the passing of a loved one or friend who designated St. Stephen's as a recipient of such donations. St. Stephen's is very grateful to those families who remember our parish during a difficult time. Finally, a huge thank you to St. Stephen's Sodality who made a $1000 donation out of the proceeds of their annual Irish Soda Bread bake sale. Their generosity is greatly appreciated! Thank you to all who generously support our parish on a sustaining basis through weekly giving. MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS ARE NEEDED

Additional volunteers are needed to deliver meals twice per month. Drivers typically deliver 6-8 meals in an hour or less. Meals are picked up from Mt. Alverno at 11:20am weekdays.
