40 Days for Life

September 18, 2026

September 23rd - November 1
The 2026 40 Days for Life Fall campaign will run from September 23 - November 1. This is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful, prayerful presence in front of abortion businesses.

This year's Kickoff event will be held on Saturday, September 26th, at 1pm, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 145 Benkard Ave, Newburgh - in the Cardinal O'Connor Hall located in the church basement. There will be speakers and lunch will be provided. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Please join us for the Kickoff, and if possible, for an hour of prayer at the Newburgh Planned Parenthood location 136 Lake Street, Newburgh, NY.

We especially need people on Mondays between the hours of 11am - 4pm but other times are helpful as well.

For more information about the campaign or to schedule an hour of prayer you may call Wendy Wood 845-820-4366 or Mary Vecchio 917-817-9174, or visit: https://www.40daysforlife.com/en/newburgh.
