Scam Alert!

The Archdiocese recently shared a warning about scam text messages that appear to come from Archbishop Hicks. These messages may ask for money, gift cards, personal information, passwords, or other sensitive information. Please remember that these messages are not legitimate. From time to time, scammers also send texts or emails pretending to be a priest. They may ask you to buy gift cards, send money, click on a link, or share personal or financial information.

Please do not respond to messages like this, and do not click on a link if something does not look right. Our priests nor the Archbishop will never contact you by text or email asking you to buy gift cards for me or send money personally. If you ever receive a message and you are not sure if it is real, there is no need to worry. Simply do not respond or click on anything. You can always call the parish office and check with us first.
