This weekend we say goodbye to Fr. Jamie as he begins a new assignment with the blessing and direction of his religious community. On behalf of all of us at St. Stephen the First Martyr Parish, I would like to thank Fr. Jamie for the generous service, friendship, and care he has shared with our parish over the years. We are grateful for the time he spent with us and for the many ways he served our community. His kindness, dedication, and priestly ministry have been a blessing to our parish. As Fr. Jamie begins this new chapter of his priestly life and ministry, we assure him of our prayers and best wishes. May God bless him with good health, happiness, and every grace as he continues to serve God's people wherever he is called. This Saturday, July 25, at 5 p.m., Fr. Jamie will celebrate Mass and the parish will host a reception afterwards to thank him and wish him well in his future endeavors. Thank you, Fr. Jamie, for your service and friendship. Little Lambs Stay and Play A new ministry for moms with children 5 and under is happening now! Drop in weekly on Fridays in the Parish Community Center between 9:30 - 11am or whenever you are able. Our First Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will resume on March 6th with Adoration beginning at 4pm through to 11pm. Please join us in committing one hour in prayer. Our First Saturday devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will begin on March 7th with Mass, confession, communal recitation of the holy rosary and 15 minutes meditation on the mysteries. Both these devotions have one goal to console the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, to make reparations for sins and blasphemies, and to deepen our love. All are invited. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary draw many souls from our parish church to themselves through these devotions, and may they bless our families and Church.

The St. Stephen Office of Faith Formation is pleased to introduce a monthly Family Mass. Beginning on October 19 at the 9am Mass and continuing the third Sunday of each month, the 9am Mass will be geared towards children; children will serve as lectors, ushers, greeters, gift bearers, altar servers, participate in choir and the homily will be preached with children in mind. We hope you will join us!

We invite you to join us for Family Mass this Sunday at the 9am Mass. Stop by for refreshments and fellowship in the atrium following Mass.
